Change Is for The Best
The school year is finally coming to an end and I’m wavering about if I want to continue in this program. I did my research and follow ups with advisors and, Fashion Marketing is sounding very interesting.
All of a sudden people seem to know what’s best for me and labeling me as a “drop out”.
1) I’m fully aware and responsible for my actions and no one else should “know what’s best for me” thank you very much.
2) Why is dropping out such a bad thing? Why do people assume the reason behind dropping out? I’m not about to become someone’s ride or die chick and frolic away through sunflower fields. I’m changing career paths for the best and going with my gut feeling. Dat it.
3) I feel it’s making me stronger as an individual to be able to walk away from so much effort that had been put into my studies with a smile and my head held high.
I’m really excited for what the future has to throw at me. Obstacles and all.
To new beginnings!
